Oregon Community Warehouse Provide donated household furnishings to low-income clients free of charge. The Warehouse distributes beds, dressers, kitchen supplies, linens to over 40 families each week in the Portland metro area. Many are women fleeing abusive situations, parents recovering from addiction or families in their first apartment after being homeless, or refugees arriving in Portland with nothingbut a suitcase. In each of these instances, we help the individuals and families get the basic furnishings and supplies they need to establish a home.

OFB currently serves 18 independent regional food banks and operates two food distribution centers located in Portland and Hillsboro. These agencies provide emergency food assistance, hot meals, and supplemental foods to low-income individuals and families.
Oregon Food Bank –Washington County Services (OFB-WCS) (Hillsboro Location)
Volunteers are a key element of OFB-WCS’s operations. This past fiscal year, OFB-WCS distributed 3.8 million pounds of food to 81 non-profit local participating agencies in Washington County. These agencies include: Emergency Food Box Programs, Soup Kitchens, Senior Centers, Group Homes, Adult Day Care programs, Gleaning, Community Basket and migrant outreach.
Volunteers are very active in OFB-WCS’s community programs; Westside Learning Garden, Nutrition Education Program, the Volunteer Action Center and the seasonal Holiday Basket Program.
