Is there a fee for being posted on www.volunteerhere.com?
As a community partner of Hands On Portland, Volunteer Center of Clark County, RSVP of Washington or Clark County or Volunteer Connection, there is no fee to access our many services. We exist as a resource for volunteers and managers of volunteers.

I am interested in posting an advertisement on the "Urgent Volunteer Needs" page of www.volunteerhere.com, how does it work?
Take a look at how current postings are written and write something similar to advertise your own need. Send the posting to support@volunteerhere.com. We will post it on the site within 48 hours.

I am an agency posted on www.volunteerhere.com. Can I change my listing, add opportunities, delete opportunities and/or manage my contact with volunteers?
You are able to edit your own listing on www.volunteerhere.com! Simply visit www.volunteerhere.com,
register on the site and send your username and agency name to support@volunteerhere.com. You will be given administrative access within 24 hours. You will then be able to manage your own agency info, opportunity listings and volunteer contact information.

I am an agency manager with administrative access to www.volunteerhere.com. Why are my newly added opportunities not showing up on the site?
Each opportunity will be closed until you decide to "open/reopen" for public viewing. To do this, please go to the opportunity manager. At the top of the opportunity manager, click on "view closed opportunities." You will then be able to edit and open the closed opportunities. Click on "edit" below the opportunity name. At the top of the edit page, you will see a box: "Open/Reopen." Once you click on "Open/Reopen" the opportunity will be listed on the public site.

I am a volunteer having difficulty finding a volunteer opportunity, what can I do?
You may find what you are looking for under "Urgent Volunteer Needs" on the left side of the home page, www.volunteerhere.com. If not, please contact the volunteer center in your area for a telephone or in-person referral:
